Canto blando (Soft chant) was the third Elena Alonso´s solo show at Espacio Valverde Gallery and probably the most subtle and delicate of her exhibitions.

The exhibition included a series of small-format works made by carved wood or plaster with inlays and drawing. The main artwork was a mural installation half way between drawing and sculpture, inspired in Piranesi´s chimney designs. After producing the huge 800 m2 installation in Matadero Madrid, the artist made this immersion in intimacy and detail, inviting the audience to get closer to the works and look at them carefully.
